The NVQ
Level 2 in Beauty Therapy prepares students for full or part-time
employment within the Beauty
Therapy industry. Students cover both the practice
and theory of Beauty Therapy, undertaking all the basic skill areas.
Course
attendance can be arranged on a flexible basis.
Method
of Assessment
Students
are assessed through practical, theoretical and oral assessments,
as well as external
verification.
Entry
Requirements
There
are no formal entry requirements for this course but applicants will
require a basic level of
numeracy and communication skills. They will also need
to provide satisfactory references. Applications from individuals with
relevant previous
experience, including mature students, are particularly welcomed.

Employment
opportunities include working within beauty therapy salons, whether
they be small private businesses or large city centre salons. Additionally
