Two Year Course

Course Contents

This programme prepares students for full or part-time employment within the Beauty Therapy industry. The course combines a number of specialist beauty therapy practices in one single programme and can lead to a wide range of career opportunities. Students cover a variety of specialist areas including:

• Aromatherapy

• Body Massage

• Dry and Wet Heat Treatments

• Electrical Face and Body Treatments

• Electrolysis

• Nail Technology 

In addition to:

• Business and Management Skills

• Health and Safety Assessment

Students undertake a work placement as part of their studies and course attendance. Course attendance can be arranged on a flexible basis.

Method of Assessment

Students are assessed through practical, theoretical and oral assessments, as well as external verification.

Entry Requirements

For level 3, applicants should have already achieved level 2 or equivalent. 

Opportunities

Employment opportunities can include progression to managerial positions within the beauty therapy industry in the UK and overseas. Additionally, opportunities exist on cruise liners, in health spas and large fitness centres.
