Grantham
Collegešs Department of Business Initiatives offers a variety of
courses aimed at increasing the skills of employees in a wide range of
occupations, as well as general interest courses open to everyone.
The
department was established in 1995 and over the years has forged links
with a number of local and national organisations and is now actively
involved in promoting training at all levels from craft skills to
management.
Specialist
trainers, experienced in a range of occupational areas, work with
organisations to plan, deliver and co-ordinate training programmes
appropriate to the needs of the client. Training can be delivered at the
College, in the workplace or at any other suitable venue. In addition,
Grantham College is an accredited centre to deliver National Vocational
Qualifications (NVQs) in a number of occupational areas and also offers
Assessor, Adviser and Internal Verifier training (D32, 33, 34 and 36).
Staff
from the department are always happy to offer advice and guidance to
anyone wishing to take advantage of the training opportunities on offer.
