The College is able to offer overseas students a range of different types of accommodation. Students who wish to live on-site can choose between Sedgwick Hall and Sedgwick Mews. Off-site there is a good selection of either self catering, half board or bed and breakfast accommodation, all within easy reach of the College. 

On-site Accommodation

Sedgwick Hall  

Sedgwick Hall is the College's purpose built on-site accommodation block. Located on the main College campus, the Hall provides accommodation for approximately 50 students.   

Included in the rent at Sedgwick Hall are the following:

  • A furnished study bedroom with carpets and curtains

  • A shared kitchen/sitting room equipped with cooker, microwave oven, fridge and kettle

  • A fully equipped laundry on each floor. (operated with tokens bought from reception)

  • Gas central heating and all electricity

  • Security locks/safety features to ensure privacy

  • Double glazing ensuring warmth and security

  • Thermostatically controlled shower/shaver point to each en-suite facility .

  • TV point in every study bedroom and sitting room

  • Cleaning of study bedroom

Disabled Students

Three rooms in Sedgwick Hall have been specifically designed for wheelchair users and a lift provides access to all floors.

Sedgwick Mews

Sedgwick Mews is also situated on site and provides a shared house approach to accommodation. The Mews are divided into four blocks of six rooms. Each block has two communal shower rooms, a kitchen and living area.  

Included in the rent at Sedgwick Mews are the following

  • A furnished study bedroom with carpets and curtains

  • A fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge, washing machine and utensils

  • All heating and electricity included

  • Double glazing throughout

  • A TV point

  • Security locks on internal and external doors

  • Access to laundry facilities in nearby Sedgwick Hall

The College Refectory

For those students who don't want to cook for themselves competitively priced meals are available in the College Refectory during term-time, weekdays only.

Off-site Accommodation

A wide choice of off-site accommodation is available in and around the Grantham area. The Student Accommodation officer will be happy to provide details of available accommodation on request
