How to apply for a course at Grantham College

When you have chosen a course from the either this booklet or the College prospectus, complete a College application form and send it together with copies of your examination certificates and school reports, to:

The International Students' Tutor,
Grantham College,
Stonebridge Road,
Grantham,
NG31 9AP
ENGLAND

Within fourteen days, you will receive a provisional offer for a suitable course. To accept, send a deposit of 500 to the address on the application form (cheques made payable to 'Grantham College'). We will then issue you with a formal Certificate of Acceptance, which you can present to the immigration authorities for the purposes of obtaining a student visa. Information about travel arrangements and accommodation will also be sent to you.

On Arrival in the UK

You are assured of a warm welcome at Grantham College. We will make arrangements to collect you from the airport by College transport; (although students not arriving on designated flights may incur a small surcharge) and on arrival at the College, you will join a special induction programme which will introduce you to life and study in the UK. At this point you will also have the opportunity to meet your tutors and to register with a local doctor.

We will endeavour to make your stay at Grantham College as enjoyable as possible. You will be supported throughout your studies by our Student Services unit and specialist English language support service. Every effort will be made to make sure that you succeed in your chosen course of study.

If you need any help during the application process or have any questions prior to arriving in the UK, please contact the International Students' Tutor or any of the International Team.
