Over the last 20
years Grantham College has developed a range of programmes specifically
for overseas students. These programmes are designed to provide EFL
(English as a Foreign Language) tuition at a variety of different levels
and allow individual students to progress on to further studies if they
programmes class sizes are intentionally kept small (on average between
8 to 10 students) in order to maximise the amount of time and individual
attention that students get. Similarly it is recognised that students
progress at different rates and to allow for this the duration of formal
teaching sessions is restricted to a maximum of 60 minutes at any one
place primary emphasis on developing students' speaking, listening,
reading and writing skills. These are taught using the very Iatest
teaching materials and methods of instruction.

number of languages and are, therefore, familiar with the difficulties
of living in a foreign country and of learning a second language. Above

possible to fulfil students' needs.
